Certainly Wood

Certainly Wood was established in 2006 and has grown significantly from producing 1,000 tonnes of barn dried firewood to now, over 16,000 tonnes of premier kiln dried firewood and 2,500 tonnes of poplar kindling wood, making it by far the largest specialist producer in the UK.

To reinforce its sustainability, Certainly Wood is now approved under this new scheme which provides a guarantee that all its firewood and kindling has been grown in the UK in accordance with the UK Government Timber Procurement Policy. It promotes active management to create a more sustainable future for British woodlands. 

Being the UK pioneers of kiln drying firewood, all logs are dried in unique wood fired kilns, and solar panels provide electricity. Being the first to be approved under the HETAS ‘Quality Assured Fuel Scheme’ the company prides itself on premium quality and excellent, friendly knowledgeable service for supply throughout the UK.

Working very closely, with stove manufacturers and distributors, stove retailers and installers the aim is to help educate customers about the importance of using dry wood and the right fuel for the wood burning stove. Crucial in so many ways, but often ignored.
